True Beauty

A Truly Beautiful Woman
There are very few women in the world
who have been truly beautiful.  Very few.
When you look for that beautiful woman
you must look deeper then her physical
beauty.  You must look past her many physical
attributes, past the shape of her body
the curve of her hip and the way that she
responds to pleasure.  Past even her attentiveness
to your needs, her response to your advances.

You must look deeper inside.

When you look at her mind, you must see the beauty of
her intellect, the power of her mental essence,
the love that she radiates, and that special
person that she is.

But, even that is not deep enough.

You must look to her personality, that which has
been forged through the fires of life, the
rigors of hardships, and the pain of physical
challenges.  That personality which reflects
in her eyes, and will glow with its shining life.
It will be like a star, that in the evening filament
twinkles and the humor of her personality will
flicker into your awareness with joyous abandon.

But, even that is not deep enough.

You must pass even her personality to reach into
her heart.  Her heart must beat with a passion,
she must pulse with love.  Her blood must flow
carrying to her fingertips the messages
of her love.  Written in tender touches for you alone.

Even that is not deep enough to discover the truly
beautiful person.

To be truly beautiful, to really surpass all others,
you must glance into her soul.  Surrounded by her aura,
cradled in her essence, this is the place of true beauty.
Its reflection sharper then the calmest waters of a fountain.
A soul of true spirituality.  Its here that beauty is truly
found.  Forever tranquil, in the endless memories that
each time you meet her impress themselves into your heart.

This has become one of My favorite poems over the last nine years... I keep going back to it's truth.  I know this is a poem of a woman and her beauty but the same can be said for a man and his as well.  It's more about the worth of a person than the beauty of a person.
Every single human alive is beautiful and unique (even the annoying little twats that seem to always find a way to ruffle My feathers or the jackass macho men who think they know better because they are 'male' ooooo that just makes my eyes twitch... you never wanna see My eyes twitch, lol. nonetheless they are beautiful in their own way).   Call it optimism, call it compassion, call it whatever you like but I truly believe that.
To see true beauty, however, as this poem says, you must look past many many things.   My favorite line in this ' Past even her attentiveness to your needs, her response to your advances.'
Growing up I had to 'do things' to gain love, or what was told to Me was love. When I was older I dated, too many if you ask Me, men who when asked 'why do you love me?'  would 9 times out of 10 give an answer of how I made them feel, what I did for them, or how I looked.
I married a man who I thought loved Me for Me.... but alas even in that he only loved the 'idea' of Me, not ME specifically. They each saw the beauty in Me not for who I was but for what I did for them. To see past what someone can do for you or how they make you feel, to see that person instead.... that's what I want.   When you can see beauty in someone for what they do for you, it's a selfish sort of beauty you see and admire.  But to truly see the beauty in someone for who they are... that's seeing true beauty with eyes wide open.

Thank You for sharing this Mistress. It is a beautiful poem. Not many people think like that. But looking deep inside, that is where true beauty is. i could not agree more. A beautiful person on the outside does not mean they are beautiful on the inside. The poem really puts a whole new outlook on the word "beautiful". And You are indeed a beautiful Woman, inside and outside Mistress. Thank You again Mistress, for everything.

Yes, thank You for sharing this poem - it's beautiful. i particularly took note of your comment on why someone loves another. It struck me funny. If people just looked into others to see the beauty in each and everyone of us, so many horizons could be opened up. Look at our little "coven". You've allowed us to see the beauty in You, anf You looked for the beauty in us - and by default, we see the same beauty now in strangers we've never met, but are now connected. Look at You and Stacey - same thing - You are connectedd by that same way You see beauty. So wha was odd to me about Your point, is that to usit's rather obvious, but alas, to many others it's not. That's why we are so fortunate to have You in our lives...

Thank you Mistress. "only loved the 'idea' of me" ... So much truth in that. Too many people can only see the outside and never bother to go deeper. If/when they do ... many times they don't like what they see. It doesn't jive with the the picture they've created in their mind.
Eyes wide open. The phrase reminds me of Kubrick's last film - Eyes Wide Shut. Truly the same theme at the end of it. Sometimes it is easier to close your eyes and go through life. Even tightly. But when they are opened ... Life waits on the other side.
Thank You Mistress. You are truly beautiful inside and out. So happy You have seen the beauty in all three of us.
